Here is the obituary. It appeared in the Franklin Press on Feb 8, 2005. Chris..... Hazel Cunningham Hylton Hazel Cunningham Hylton, 83, of Windy Gap Road, Franklin, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005. She was the daughter of the late James W. and Wilcie Jones Cunningham. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude Patton and Annie May Cunningham; three brothers, Ralph, Robert and Marshall Cunningham; and special friends, Doris and Buddy Holler. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Franklin for 70 years. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Hylton Gentry and husband Ronnie of Franklin; two grandsons, Marty Southard and wife Gloria and Randy Gentry and wife Paula, all of Franklin; a granddaughter, Keitha Gentry Moffitt and husband Joe of Atlanta, Ga.; three great-granddaughters, Morgan Southard, Bailey Gentry and Gracie Gentry, all of Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Macon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice and Palliative Care, 170 Church St., Franklin, NC 28734. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
