Looking for any information about my husband's great great grandfather, Moses B Atkins, b:1830-1835. His Civil War....yes he did wear blue...muster gave his place of birth as Macon Co, NC. We have absolutely NO information about his parents or his early childhood. He married Perlina/Pauline Black in Marshall Co, TN in the 1850s, we have been told. They spent most of their adulthood in Jefferson Co, Illinois.
