I am searching for a marriage bond for William Thomas Crawford and Sarah Smith c 1817 in Haywood County, NC. Sarah was born c. l802 in Buncombe County and Wm. Thomas Crawford l798, the son of George Washington Crawford and Sarah Kirby ,according to Rootsweb postings. I am most interested in seeing if any Smiths were on the marriage bond as witnesses etc. I am searching for parents of Sarah Smith. She had brothers, William Berry Smith, James M. Smith, and Joel Smith. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Glad to share. Thank you. Barbara
