Would like to contact relatives/descendents of Elisha Thomas Jenkins, b. Aug 1845, Gates County, N.C. He married Jerusha Ann Jones Jul 25, 1873 (N.C. Marriage Bonds); they had 4 children: Elisha Thomas (my grandfather), Minnie D, Mary F, Almeta (1900 U.S. Census). After his first wife died, Elisha Thomas Jenkins married Elizabeth Phelps between 1900-1910 and moved to Nansemond County, VA. They had several more children: Elisha Axum, Julia Jerusha, Martha, Rachel, and Addie (1910 & 1930 U.S. Censuses). Would appreciate any information or contacts.
