Looking for any info. on Neal ( Neil) Johnson born in Moore County N.C. He was married to Bessie ( Maggie) Stokes. I have found Neal on the early Moore County census showing more children. I can only locate one child Archibald Medlin Moore (my husband grand father).Archie was born in Moore County N.C. in 1830 or 1835. He is in Columbus County in 1860 where he married Mary Catherine Clark. He lived the rest of his life in Bladen County N.C. He died in 1927. I have been at a brick wall for years and need to keep digging.Any suggestions on direction would be greatly appreciated.
