Greetings George, "In my mind, that wagon was burned south of Rocky River, not up northwest of Concord where the marker stands..." I would love to hear your story on the route of Gov. Tryon's powder wagon, that would be interesting. I hope you are going to share with us when you complete the story. My Cabarrus friends are convinced that the wagon was camped overnight near the Phifer Tavern.
