Allen Peterson of NC had brothers, Labon Peterson, and Enoch Peterson. All three men named a son Timothy Peterson.
Identifying which Timothy belonged to Labon and Enoch is a

Timothy s/o Allen
This Timothy can be identified through NC area records. Allen Peterson was md. to Charity Hatcher. Charity's father, Timothy Hatcher, in his will dated 1838, named sons of dau. Charity as Isham Peterson and Timothy Peterson. New Hanover court minutes court minutes 1841-43 names Isham Peterson son of Allen one of next of kin a legatee of Timothy Hatcher. Timothy Peterson s/o Allen was md. 3 times: 1. Susan Vann 2. Elizabeth Devon 3.Mary Ann Hewitt. Timothy and Mary Ann Hewitt were found in St. James Santee, Charleston, SC in 1880 with son, Timothy Peterson, b.abt 1873.

Laban Peterson
Md. Mary Hatcher, a sister of Charity Hatcher. Mary and Laban were also named her father, Timothy Hatcher's 1833 Will. Labon's 1850 Will named son,Timothy Hatcher Peterson, but Mary's father, Timothy Hatcher's will named all other children but not Timothy Hatcher Petterson

Enoch Peterson.
Can't identify him in NC area records. In 1859 his estate records listed a Timothy but no Isham.

One Timothy md.Catherine Wheeler and moved to Thomas Co., GA (1850 Census) with dau. Piety near other Wheeler and to Madison C., FL (1880 Census) with dau Pida.

Both Labon and Enoch's families lived in the Upper Black River Dist. in New Hanover, NC.

Please respond if you are familiar with any of these families and can help ID the other two Timothy's. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
