Hello Phyllis, Grasping at straws here as no one has acknowledged kinship to my BROWN/WEELDON AA/Native line in 13yrs of research, but see you have mentioned PW co, VA in your post where I find WEEDENS which is a connecting surname, so thought I'd give it a try. Mainly, I am seeking ANY info on my Native ggrandmother, CHARATA BROWN, who is listed as born 1833 NC-----cannot find any info on HER or HER family. If anything is of interest, please contact me.
