Hello,

My name is Lori Howard and I have many relatives from Albidona, Italy. I only have two so far that I can find in my family tree that are actually Napoli's and they go back into the 1700's. One was a Caterina Napoli, married to an F. Pota probably born somewhere around 1740. They had one son that I know of named Pasquale Pota born in 1764.

Also, a Marta Napoli, born around 1744, who married Domenico Ferraro, born 1744. They had one son, Leonardo Ferraro born in 1767. I also have family byt the name of Adduci, Ferraro, Gatto, Lizzano, Milano, Pota and Rago. All from Albidona.

I have a fairly long line of relatives in Albidona. My direct line is through my great grandmother Philomena Pittacora and my great grandfather Matteo Rizzo who were born and married in Albidona before coming to the United States. Most of my family from Italy ended up in Chicago, which is where I was born as well.

If you are from Albidona, we are probably relations in some way. I would love to hear what you know about the place and the people. I have never been there, but would love to go some day.

Thank you,
Lori Howard
