Johann: You can search the names of those receiving the Ste-Helena Medal awarded to those that served with Napoleon 1. This medal was awarded by his grandson, N, III. Go to CINDISLIST.com, find her places index. Choose FRANCE. Choose STE-HELENA MEDAL. Enter your name for search. Good Luck. Only those alive at the time of Napoleon III and could prove they served with his grandfather got the award. You may order documentation from that site also. Deb
