I have some Murray information acquired along the way, but more to share concerning Emma Hawker Murray. Emma L. Hawker, b. Aug 1881 at Dunkirk, Chautauqua County, NY, dau of Sophia Peters and Herman W. Hawker; d. 21 Apr 1948 at Dunkirk, NY; m. abt 2 Jul 1901, William H. Murray, b. 1878/79, Attica, NY, son of Patrick and Norah (King) Murray; he d. 2 Apr 1948 at Dunkirk. Sophie Luise Friederica Peters, b. 26 Apr 1855 at Medrow, Pommern; d. 12 Nov 1922 at Dunkirk, NY; m. 1872 at Dunkirk, NY, Herman William Hawker, b. 16 Aug 1852 in Germany, son of John K. and Caroline (Riemer?) Haacker, he d. 9 Jul 1930 at Dunkirk, NY Sophia was the daughter of Joseph Peters and Friederika Schult, and the sister of my great-grandmother, Marie (later Mary) Peters, who married Henry F. Knoll.
