Lois, Thank you for your reply. I've seen the census. The problem is wheter the name in question is Munsey or Murray. (or something else) I was hoping to find someone with a connection to the Munsey/Murray? family who could clear up the mystery. I've been unable to locate the family in more recent census records spelled either way.
