Hello! I am looking for any researcher with any of the following Decorating Mullins in the family line. Or even any of the boarders information!? (Mullins is spelt different in many documents and certificates – Mullins, Mullin, Mullen, Mullan. My Grandmother used Mary (Molly) Elizabeth Mullan, but I noticed on Documents she signed Mullins and Mullin) The 1881 Census has Mullen?! I start with John Mullins of Dublin, Ireland. He had a son James Mullins. (both decorators) I would like to find out more information about James Mullin when he was born in Dublin (1830-34?) Another document says he is the son of John Mullin of Dublin, also a decorator/painter. I have no further information about the family then that, but would LOVE to find the family as I have done finding other parts of my family. James Mullins would move to England and marry Sarah Whillock Mullins on Feb 1st, 1860 in Saint James, Westminster, London, England. These are the parent's of my Great Grandfather James Albany Mullins who was a decorator before marrying Ellen Pannifer Winter Mullan and owning and running a shirt Factory and then a sewing and tea/bakery shop in the East Ham area. Ellen would then leave James and move to Belfast, Northern Ireland where my Grandma Molly (Mary Elizabeth Mullan) was born and raised until 10 years old when the Mullins family helped Ellen and the younger children move to Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1919. Even in Northern Ireland the house that Ellen lived in, says it was owned by James’ brother John Mullin. John Mullins and his wife also adopted one of Ellen and James’ son’s William John Mullin, who later moved back to England and died in 1980. James Mullins father was a John Mullins of Dublin Ireland and John also had a decorating company in Dublin. The funny thing is, that is what I do today, although I had no idea of my family history when I got my degrees.
