Dear Linda & Katrina: This is your line of MUIRs, not "mine," but I would offer a wee word of caution as far as the parents of James McKinnon MUIR. I do know of 2 "James McKinnon MUIRs," one christened 6 May 1849 in Ayr (birthdate unknown to me at current time), son of James MUIR & Margaret REID. I have very little on this family connected together. The other James McKinnon MUIR was b. 1851 in Maybole, supposedly to John MUIR & Ann WILSON. Supposedly, this is the one who m. Elizabeth (Lizzie) McCLELLAND and seems to tie into your later info. Sincerely, Randy Muir
