Then post queries to the appropriate counties through this site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~mtgenweb/countytbl.html Someone may be able to help. You might also try checking an SSDI database site: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/fto_ssdisearch.html?Welcome=1020485571 You will find 5 Theodore Thompsons who died in Montana, maybe one of them is your relative. You can also try entering different death or birth years to see if any of the hits look promising.
