Jack Culver, 54, of Nettleton, died Aug. 11, 1973 at Veterans Hospital in Memphis after an illness of one week. Mr. Culver was self-employed as a painter and was a member of Temple Grove Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in Europe. Services were Aug. 12 at Nettleton Pentecostal Church with burial in the Union Cemetery, south of Plantersville. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors had charge.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Nellie Dickerson Culver; one son, Jackie Flord Culver of Nettleton; two daughters, Mrs. Diane Lindsey and Miss Kathy Culver, both of Nettleton; one sister, Mrs. Stella Sloan of Nettleton; three brothers, Carno Culver of Silver Springs, Md., George Culver of Amory and Henry Culver of Nettleton.
