Phillis: I just came across your query about Osborn Majors and remembered seeing that name before. I wrote down the following marriage license: James Bennett, son of William and Martha Bennett married Mary E. Mayges, dau. of Osbborn Mayges, on 2-13-1854. In my searching for info on my Bennett forebears I have seen that name before, spelled Majors and Mayges. This may be the same person?
