Roosevelt Manuel, 80, of Nettleton, died Jan. 11, 1994 at the NMMC in Tupelo. He was a member of the Palestine United Methodist Church. Services were Jan. 16 at the Palestine United Methodist Church with burial in the Mullins Cemetery. Jackson Mortuary was in charge. Survivors included his wife, Annie Mae Manuel of Nettleton; five daughters, Annie Pearl Brown of Hattiesburg, and Mary Helen Clay, Annie Fay Smith, Connie Ruff and Delores Hatley, all of Nettleton; one sister, Henry Mae Ezell of Nettleton; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
