In 1880 Census, Columbus, Muscogee Co., Georgia: Sally Mote, widow, age 40, Ga., with sister, Jamie, 30, Mollie, dtr., 19, Willie, son, 17, Elsie, dtr., 14, W. F. LUCKIE, age 74. Does anybody know of a tie-in to Luckies and Motes? In the Linwood Cemetery at Columbus is Julia Ann Luckie, Ella Luckie, dtr. and in the same section are Motes, Porters and Claburns. Since William F. Luckie was living with Sally Mote, I was just wondering if anybody knew what the connection was. Sandy Meacham
