If you are a descendant of a Joseph Morrisette/Morisette who had been born in Canada, and had a wife named Emily, and was a member of the Michigan Volunteers during the Civil War, please contact me. They had sons Joseph, Charley, Louis, Thomas, Alfred and Frank. Around 1900, Thomas emigrated to WA, followed by Alfred. Thomas is the ancestor of my wife and Alfred is the ancestor of her cousin Fr Alfred M* SJ. We have no idea of what happened to the other boys, and we are hoping that someone out there does.
