Mom always said that her family was related to preachers and pirates and laughed at the combination.. I just laughed it off about the pirate part..lol. Making family trees back in school, I didnt have the resources to go way back, just relied on parents and granparents.

She also said that either her or dad was related to Humphrey Bogard and President Warren Harding. And now another researchers tells me Princess Diana as well.
My father's grandparent Maternal side)was Bishop Hans Herr out of Lancaster County Pennsylvania. His mother's ancestor is Major General John Hammond out of Maryland. (maternal side)
It started off with me becoming unable to work and i started in Feb 2010 researching my paternal side of the family.
It has been a long journey full of surprises and wonderment. The journey has been long yet continues.
Thanks again sweety for sharing your family information with me.

As far as the Moreland name goes, that is my son's name, 1st marriage. He has granchildren, 1 being a foster(both biracial)
