I'm searching for the parents and family of Mary Morgan, b. abt 1834 in Tennessee, who married 1st, William Calvin Haworth, who died in the Civil War, and 2nd, John R. Fielden. So far, the only records I've been able to use are mostly the Census records and a few online marriage records, but they have yeilded some possibilities. Mary's parents are both listed as being born in Tennessee. I have found a possible set of parents for her in Joshua Morgan and Winnie Tittsworth, who lived in Jefferson County, often next door to Mary Morgan Haworth Fielden and her children. Joshua and Winnie had four children that I have identified, Nancy, Mary, Gilbert, and Alex. I have followed Gilbert and Alex and their wives and children through a few censuses, although Gilbert disappears and his wife and children remain in Jefferson County in the 1870 census. Joshua is neighbors with a William H. Morgan, born in North Carolina in about 1792, who is just barely old enough to have been Joshua's father, but may be a brother or uncle. His wife is Catherine was born in Virginia. Does anyone know anything about this family? Thanks in advance for any clues!
