Texas Marriage Records: Abel Moore (IL) md. Susan Stewart 1860, TX 1870 Calcasieu, LA (Lake Charles P.O.) Abel Moore, 48, born 1822 in KY Susan Moore, 25, born 1845 in TX George (W.)Moore, son, 8, born 1862 in TX John (T.) Moore, son, 6, born 1864 in TX Nancy (J.) Moore, dau., 4, born 1866 in LA William (J.) Moore, son, 1 month old, born 1870 in LA I cannot find an Abel Moore fitting this information prior to the marriage and 1870 Census. Marriage records say he was born in Illinois and Census says KY but the birth year of 1822? Do you have any information on this particular Abel Moore? Another given name perhaps? Anything?
