Don- Just a suggestion; Go to the 1900 Census records at a National Archives Regiona Office,if one is near, or get a 14 day free trial on Ancestry, com. The 1900 Census shows both the month and year of birth for each person so it is easier to determine whether you have the right individual or not. Am not sure whether Ancestry.com has the 1900 Census indexed or not but I believe that National Archives records are indexed by state. Once you find her in that census you will have her parents, siblings etc. including state where the parents were born.
