I would definitely say there isn't a Brunovasa. I don't know where that came from but I'll do my best to find out. I know that he wrote Vaso on the letters and pictures so that is really what I was looking at. It's interesting to know the origin of his name. I've always like learning that sort of thing.
The only records I've found so far is the ship manifest from 1913. Of course, I am going to retrace a few steps as I've not broadened my birth year enough. I've searched on Papovich and Papovic but not Paporic. That was a spelling in a record that Zlatica found with the EXACT information that I found from the ship manifest on Ancestry. I was dumbfounded when I couldn't find anything on any spelling or date I tried. I couldn't believe that he had slipped through the cracks and arrived un-documented.
I'm not saying entirely that the 1913 Vaso Papovic is the one I'm looking for, but it is very similar and I'm going on the assumption that it is him. I'm just looking for other documents to support that at the moment.
