I did see a death for John Caldwell in Montana: Montana Death Index (on Ancestry.com) birthdate is different but then, often this is incorrect or people lie about age, etc. b 1866'died 25 Nov 1918 1880 Census: Post Oak, Johnson, MO Father: Thomas J. 47 KY Martha 41, VA John J. 19 Ida B. 13 Rosseau 9 Editha 6 Myrtle 3 1910 census: Valley Co., MT single; when was he married? Death of father: Thomas J. 7 Apr 1933 Caldwell, KY 1925 Warrensburg, Johnson, MO I might have to send away for a death certificate in MT
