HI,
I'm looking for a volunteer in the St Louis area that can go to the library & check the St Louis Post Dispatch newspapers for any articles on the Aug 1888 murder of George Curle (Curl). He was killed in Pike County, Arkansas but lived in Howard County, Arkansas.

One very short article was found in the Nashville News from August 18, 1888. It didn't say much but that an old man named Curl was found dead with his head in the Little Missouri River with 5 bullet holes in him.

I am in the Memphis, TN area & would be very happy to check that library if anyone should needs lookups from there.

Email me or reply here for more info. cwglzrl at att.com

Thanks!
Cindy
