The Clay Family Society will hold its biennial gathering June 21 in the evening through June 24 in the morning, in Independence, Missouri, the "jumping off place" for westward migration, and home to two important research facilities, the Midwest Genealogy Center and the Frontier Trails Museum, both of which we will visit.

The major topics will be westward migration to the mid-west; westward migration from the midwest to the west; the Clay families involved, and using land records to find ancestors.

All people with an interest in, or relationship with, the Clay families (from Maine to Georgia and then some) are welcome to join us.
