I failed to give ages for the 3 children of Levi and Susan Tracy in 1880.

Carrie, age 11
Jimmie, age 9
Rhoda, age 3.

In the 1900 census Susan indicated she had given birth to 3 children with 3 still living. It does appear that they raised a granddaughter, Gladys McMahan. She married a Channell and is also buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Gladys was Rhodaís daughter. The Choctaw Nation Marriage Records show this marriage: Rhoda Tracy, age 18, married Frank McMahan, age 23. They were married 5 Dec 1895 in Coalgate. She must have taken her maiden name back because she is shown as Rhoda Tracy in the 1900 I.T. census, living with her parents along with Gladys McMahan. The Choctaw Nation Marriage Records also show her 2nd marriage: Rhody Tracey m. W. R. Adams, 1 Dec 1900 in Coalgate.

I have not found any information about Carrie.

I did find a little more about Susanís father, as located through 1850 Mortality Schedule, Matagordo Co. TX. William Woofendale, age 32, b. Canada, occupation, ship carpenter, died April 1850, cause of death, snake bite.

I am not related, but I live in Oklahoma, enjoy research, and to me putting the family stories together is important.

At the site you can either put what information you have in the search field on the home page, or choose to open one of the links, e.g. United States, then scroll down to look at what is available. Texas has death certificates for 1890-1976. If you donít have it, you can find the death certificate for James Lawrence Tracy, d. Fannin County. You will find a transcription of information, but if you want to view the original certificate you will need to register with a user name and a password. It is free and easy to do. The image gives a little more information, such as cause of death and the name of the person who provided the information.

The Choctaw Nation Marriage records are not available at familysearch. Here is the link I used to find those marriages:

Good luck on your search. If you have questions about what I have provided please feel free to ask.
