I am looking for information on the Krause family that traveled to Missouri from Rutherford County, N.C. sometime in the late 1840's or early 1850's. They were descendents of Dr. H. Charles L. Krause of Germany (1786-1848) I think his wife's name was Mary Elizabeth. The children who went west were: Fredrick Willaim Krause John Willaim Krause Bartha Ann Krause Pinkney Wilson Krause Two older sons remained in North Carolina. They were Charles Fredrick Krause and Henry Hiram Krause. Any information will be most appreciated.
