It was in your email.. I will go ahead and post it here and try to send it to you again.

I have not had time to run out to the cemetery, but I have been doing research in the book that I have. I can find nothing on your grandfather there, but did find this on your grandmother:

Dr. John Johannes
Born in Bavaria, Germany, July 1829, educated in his native land, came to the United States in 1849, settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he attended Lutheran College, perfecting his English and continuing his studying of medicine with one of his professors. Moved to St. Louis in 1852, then finally to Benton County (this is the county that Sedalia is located in) where he joined the Union Volunteer Militia and fought in the battle of Cold Camp, was severally wounded and captured. When released, sold his holdings and moved to Prairie City (this is an even smaller town the Rockville and is located about 8 miles west of here) and became the towns physician, buying property in the community, as well as 500 acres near by. In 1851, he married Babeth Eidelath. They had eight children: Erhard, William Henry, Albrecht, Nicholas, Christopher, John Freddy, Agnes Magdalena and Caroline. In 1883, Nicholas, Freddy and Chris were all in business in Rockville.

I will look more in the book this evening to see what else I can come up with. Hope this helps you some.
