Could this be your George Herndon, with wife Lydia, same as Osage county census 1870 . Could she have used another name besides Frances?? OR, is there a second marriage??
Children are Edgar, age 10 ( 1870 Wallace E.??) Ida 08, Maury 04, Bennett 01.
Next door to B.E. and Martha Herndon, both men born in VA.
There are some CW pension records, in the 1890's. One filed for minors, Charles H. et al.
