Hi Laura,
Thanks for your response to my post. Re your Anna Burk Wayne Co., KY. My 3rd great-grandmother was Diza/Dicey Burk born ca 1807 TN and died ca 1855 Wayne Co., KY. She married 27 May 1822 Wayne County Pleasant Anderson. Dicey was the dau of Benjamin Burk and Elizabeth Troxell. All the Burk(e)'s in Wayne Co seem to be related so it's very likely we share a common Burk(e) ancestor. Here's some more info I copied off a Wayne County site I belong to. You'll see an Anna Burk born 1793 Washington Co., VA marries Wayne County an Edward Dolen. Could this be your Anna?

I was impressed that you checked out my posting history. You noticed that I've done many, many posting on "Bell" research. I would like to give you background on this via personal email ... if that's ok with you. I'll take the liberty to use your personal email address and apologize in advance if that causes any problems.

If you're gonna be doing some Wayne Co research, I can send you an invitation to a "MyFamily" website (administered through Ancestry.com). It's the "Wayne County Kin" site. It's about 1 1/2 years old and we have a ton of info on this site about Wayne Co., KY families. It's by invitation only ... but totally free to use by members. Let me know if you'd like an invitation.

I'll be emailing you via your pers email address concerning the Bell connection.

Thanks again for your response.
