I've been going through my grandmothers paper clippings and decided to put some of the obituaries on genforums Since all the papers seem to come from Kirksville paper please also check Adair County Missouri genforum for all of them.

Reuben Snyder, Green Castle, Dies At 55

Found Dead in Bed; Had Been Suffering from Heart Ailment

Reuben Milo Snyder, 55, of Green Castle, was found dead in his bed this morning about eight o'clock. He had been suffering with a heart ailment for some time and was under a doctor's care.
The son of Samuel and Nancy (Bishop) Snyder, he was born in Adair countyApril 4, 1899. He was married to Miss Golda Ray and five children were born to them. He was married to Mrs. Pearl Williams in 1939. He was preceded in death by his parens and one brother, Hiram.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Vandal, Curtis and Thomas, all of Kalispell, Mont; two daughters, Mrs. Arlene Heinselman, of Santa Monica, Calif. and Mrs. Caude (Hilda Fay) Stidmon, of Kalispell, Mont.; four brothers, Willis of Mountain View, Mo.; Charles of Mason City, Iowa, Elmer and Walter, of Green Castle; two sisters, Mrs. William (Mamie) Daniels, of Green Castle and Mrs. Bertha Adams, of Green City, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by the Glenn E. Kent & Son funeral Home where the body will remain.
