Everyonce in a while I do new research on families I looked into back in the early years (1999-2004). New information does pop up every once in a while. Such is the case with this family.

I'd like to correspond with grandchildren, greatgrandchildren or greatgreatgrandchildren of John W. Mitchell and Mary O Flummerfelt Mitchell.

generation 1--Charles W. Mitchell and Samantha Losey Mitchell (daughter of James Locy and Nancy Shook Locy of Tuscarawas County, OH)
generation 2--John W. Mitchell and Mary Flummerfelt Mitchel
married in Martin County, Indiana and moved after the 1900 census to Kingfisher County, Oklahoma and later to Garfield County, Oklahoma. They had six children while in Indiana. They are:
generation 3
(1)Carrie Mitchell b. Jun 1879 married Arthur Glenn Smith in Daviess County, IN (some say that he is the son of Samuel Smith)and they moved to Bottineau County, North Dakota. They had several children. Carrie and Arthur died in North Dakota.
(2)Dora Ellen Mitchell married Peter Jim (James) Briant in Oklahoma. They had one daughter Viola. The daughter married Wayne McFarland first and than Otto L (Luther) Fredericks. Dora and Peter divored. Dora died in Canyon County,Idaho. Her daughter and son-in-law also died in Canyon County, Idaho.
(3)Roy Mitchell b.1885 married Grace M. Herschburger in Garfield County, Oklahoma. They died in Enid, Oklahoma
(4)George E. Mitchell b.Feb 12, 1890 married ? they divorced. He died in Los Angeles County, California.
(5))Earl Hix Mitchell b.Apr. 27, 1895 married Ione J Yeoman in Kingfisher Couty, Oklahoma. They died in Garfield County, Oklahoma. They had a daughter and a son. The son Max died in Garfield County, Oklahoma.
(6)Pearl E Mitchell b.Apr. 27, 1895 married Arlie Edward Clark in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. They died in Sedgwick County, Kansas. They had at least two sons.
