I am looking for information on the Mills family that migrated from the areas of Massachusetts (1700s) and New York to Illinois in the mid-1800s, and then on to the Chico, Butte County, California, vicinity. In particular, Information on Lafayette Mills (c. 1828-1903), Charles Nelson Mills (1867-1933), Laura (Parrish) Mills (1869-1956), Mary Adelide (Thompson) Mills (1832-1918), or the related families: Parrish or Thompson (that also migrated to Chico, California. These are my family members that migrated from Illinois to Butte County, California, in the mid-1800s. I cannot trace that branch of the Mills family further back than that migration, other than anecdotal info about New York and Massachusetts. Does anyone know of specific info on these Mills?
