Anyone know anything about the "Trail of Tears"? I am looking for decendants of Isaac Abraham Middlebrooks Sr & Jr & Jane "Connors" Middlebrooks (Full Blood Cherokee) There is a long lost Great, great Uncle which goes by Ulysses S. Middlebrooks that move to possibly London England (not sure when) but family say that he just disappeared and was never heard from again. He was so fair skinned that he could have been mistaken for being white. My great, great grand father was Isaac Abraham Middlebrooks, my great grand father was Monroe Middlebrook, grandfather was Troy "Bailey" Middlebrook, grandmother was Bernice Middlebrook, my Father was Alonzo "Lump" Middlebrook. I have an Aunt who still lives in Fort Worth TX (Christine) (I have found out that some family members carry the "s" and some do not - but the original spelling of "Middlebrook(s) came with the "s". Family could possibly be living an either of these states - OK, GA, TX, MS, KS, MO, IL, FL, LA, AL, NY etc......
