Robert - I have the following in my notes that you might want to follow up on. This statement is likely 10 years ago, maybe 15.

This Michael family information was obtained from the Mormon Family Search Website and submitted by Marvene Michael, 3010 Ryan Avenue, Santa Clara, Cal., 95051-5532, submission #95-101468.

Notes for Christopher Michael:
From Monocacy and Catoctin, Vol. 111, C. E. Schildknecht, page 110: "A typed report "The Michael Family" was written by James Parker and Mildred Michael Crewe. They give the following emigrant brothers from Germany via Annapolis:
Christopher (1708-1783), William (1715) and Andrew (1720-1800). Christopher emigrated in 1753, naturalized 1763. (Library of Congress).
Other prior Revolutionary War deeds are recorded. Christopher Michael bought from Luke Barnard, 250 acres of the tract "The Sun is Down and the Moon is Up." Christopher deeded a property to Peter Michael in 1771.
Christopher Michael, of Frederick County, German, was naturalized on September 28, 1763 (From Colonial Maryalnd Naturalizations by Wyand, page 48).

Information about the Christoper Michael family comes from the Mormon Family Search Website, File #AFN:TZLL-2J) which links this Christopher with Andrew I as being the sons of Franz Ludwig Michel, who was the son of David and Ursula (Fels) Michel ,if the information from Mildred Michael Crewe is correct. Their birthdates coincide, but the submitter, Evelyn M. Shaver, 9740 Baughman Rd., Harrison, Ohio 45030 (Submission #AF92-105491) only submitted the name of Christoper as a son of Franz Ludwig (which was probably from her family line).
