Hi Muriel I am researching my family tree, and I suspect that your Jane Mackie is our Jane Bolton Mackie. Our Jane was born in St Mary Jamaica in 1807 and died 1877 in Hopeman. She was married to James Cameron, a fishcurer of Hopeman. We have James and Jane having children by the name of John (1834- 1875) and Alexander (1836- ?), but they could have had more children that I haven't found yet. The time frame fits as the other children were born 2 years apart. Both Jane's father and brother (our ancestors) were called William. Jane's brother William immigrated to Tasmania, Australia, then moved to Bathurst NSW. Nikki
