I was wrong about the county that Coopersville is in, it is Ottawa county MI. As of a few years ago, there was a John Bergeon still there. You may want to look at this web site http://kalamazoogenealogy.org/ There are links to a number of records, including a photo of a headstone for John Bergeon 1868-1944, and his wife Addie (Jones) 1871-1945, and some others with the same last name in the same cemetery. I suggest you enter just part of the name Berg in the search box, and be sure to scroll thru the list as they are not in perfect alphabetical order. Good luck with your search.
