I'm not related, just like a challenge. Not sure how much info you already have. Aquilla White Smith b. 2/9/1906 Louisa VA, son of Eppa Smith and Hettie Snead/Sneed. He wed Thena Katheryn Baxter b. 8/19/1911, in Elkhart IN on 12/19/1931. She is the daughter of Elmer Baxter and Sadie Dunn. Aquilla Smith died 9/24/1966 in St Joseph Berrien county MI, was buried in Comstock MI. In that same cemetery is Thena Pickard Smith b. 1914, died unknown. Not sure why her maiden name is different there. In 1910 Albemarle county, Charlottesville VA there is EH Smith 28 VA VA VA wed 7 yrs, 4 kids, 3 survive wife HH 24 VA VA Va Aquilla W 4 VA Ida P 2 VA Anne E 8 mos. VA In 1900 Spotslvania county, Livingston VA Ephworth H Smith 18 VA he listed as brother, but I think it should say brother in law, to Willie L Moore 26 VA wife is Laura S. Moore b. Jul 1874 VA In 1880 Spotslvania county Chancellor VA Laura Smith 10 VA, a servant in a home also same town is a Wm Moore 8 VA, living with his folks Joe Moore 38 PA, Mary 40 PA, Eliza 14, PA, Catherine 13 PA, Alice 10 PA, Lucy 3 VA, Bavery 1 VA. I wasn't able to determine who the parents of Eppa are. I had a few hunches but eliminated them. One was a Thomas D Smith who lived near to Eppa Smith in 1920 Palmyra VA. Another was EW (Edmond W Smith) who also lived in Spotslvania in 1880. But neither turned out to be the parents. Annabelle Mae Smith died 4/4/1993 and was buried in Riverside cemetery next to Charles W Smith who died 11/1/1957. I could not find Eppa's place of burial, nor could I find on-line obits on this couple, Aquilla Smith, or mention of them in other obits.
