Kalamazoo Gazette 7 April 1987 p.D7 Harriet Goins 1126 Chrysler passed away Monday eve. April 6 1987. Harriet was born June 22, 1929 in Eau Claire, MI daughter of Harry and Hazel (Mitchell) Goins and had resided in Kalamazoo since 1940. She had been employed by the Upjohn Co for 20 years. Previously by the U.S. Government State Dept, living in Washington D.C. and overseas areas. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School Class of 1944. Survivng are 2 sisters and their spouses. Majorie and Charles Burton and Gladys and Richard McGinnis all of Kalamazoo, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Preceded by 2 brothers Louis Edward and Francis Raymond Goins. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2:30 in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Langland Memeorial Chapel 622 S. Burdick at 7 this evening when the family will be present from 7-9 pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
