I have information from Elmer Sweet's federal pension file from the Civil War Era. He was born in New York, son of Milton Sweet and Annie Taber and his daughter was Ida (Mrs. William) Wandell of Battle Creek where he died Oct. 25, 1910. I am writing a book re: 6th Mi Cavalry.
