I am seeking information on James Skinner of Cass County, Michigan. He is listed in the 1870 Federal Census as living in Marcellus township, Post office Dowagiac, Michigan. He is listed as 42 years old being born in New York, His wife Jane age 32 born in Scotland. The children were all born in Michigan. They are Ida M. age 11, Jennie age 9, Jessie age 8, Charles age 4, Anna age 2, and Olive age 1
