I happened to be in Cassopolis today and stopped into the Historical Library. I know now that Plary Hayden had a brother George. I also beleive they had a sister Rhoda. I found Ruth, Noah's widow living with Salvador Read and Rhoda Read. Oddly, in the 1850 census, Joseph G was living next door to them. I posted another message to see if anyone could give me some info on Noah and his children. Someone may know something. Once I can definately get Noah as Joseph's father, then all the info you have given me will be relevent in my tree. Wonderful little mysteries to try to solve. The library did not have an obit for Noah or Ruth. Dang! Ok, thats where I am at the moment. Thanks.
