I was very interested to see that you had found a copy of the JD Porteous book,I have had no luck myself.I have reason to believe that there was a Robert Mell who was a mayor of Kingston upon-hull,England, poss in the 1920'or 30's.I believe that this man is my great grandfather and would love to know if the book confirms his existence or if anybody out there can help.Thank you.
