I have proof now from an obituary that connects this family. The History of Johnson Co. article that was posted that mentions your Jackson but also a son Andrew J. with the same birth year and birth places as the one I am searching which shows me that this is probably the right Andrew J. Meers. The Census that I found connects his children as being the right family which are also mentioned in Lilley Mae Meers (married name Pullen) Obituary. He named his children for his father, and some brothers. Thanks for your reply.
