I am looking for Meads/Meades in the Southwest Coast area of NFLD. I am descended from William Meade, b. abt. 1859, who married Mary Elizabeth LeFresne in Isle Aux Morts (then called Seal Cove) in 1884. His father was also William Mead(e). I believe he may have migrated from the Burgeo area. I found a William Mead married to Elizabeth Richards in 1846; I believe they later moved to La Poile and had children John, Esther and Samuel. If you have any information on any of these people or any Meads/ Meades in IAM, I would appreciate it.
