I'm looking for information on Timothy B. Haywood (or Heywood). He married a woman named Eleanor Webb (born about 1823 and died 1861). Timothy and Eleanor married between 1805-1808. Their children included Turiel (1809-1900), Samuel (1814-1890), James (abt. 1823-1881), Lucy P. (abt 1823-1905) and possibly Ann W. and Eliza. I believe all were born in Waterville, Maine. I'm not certain where Timothy B. Haywood died, but I know his sons and wife settled in the Lockport/Joliet area of Illinois.
In Illinois, Turiel married Orpha Hawley; Samuel married Elizabeth Akin; James married twice - first to Lucinda Braman, and then a "Catherine" from Ireland; Lucy P. married William Faunce and died in Farmingdale, Maine; rumor has it Eliza became the second wife of Oscar Hawley (distinguished judge) and Ann married Edwin Fay. Eleanor lived with Turiel's family until her death and is buried in Lockport Cemetery together with her sons, their wives and children. There may be another sister, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone have any information on this family? I am a descendant of Samuel Haywood and have research to share...
