In the marriage record for Fred and Sadie Beatrice, note that Henry B. Harding's residence was given as Etna, ME, then crossed out and changed to MASS. Hattie's residence was not correct and remains Etna, ME. Thus it appears this couple is living apart. Transcription of marriage record below.

1889 death of son Paul in Etna; see Find a Grave memorial to Paul Harding, "6 weeks son of Henry and Hattie Harding"
Died June 1889, buried Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Etna, Penobscot, Maine. Carter family in same cemetery, see below.

This is likely Harriet Carter Harding in 1900:
Etna, Penobscot, Maine
Allen Malcolm, 38, born Maine
Hattie O. Harding, 46, b Oct 1854 Maine, parents b Maine, MARRIED, married 20 yrs (ca 1880), 5 children 4 living, servant
Alice M. Harding, age 7, born April 1893 in Maine, boarder

31 July 1909 Alice M. Harding dies. See Find a Grave memorial to Alice, "dau. of Henry and Hattie Harding." Buried Pleasant Hill Cemetery as with her brother Paul, She was "16 years 3 months 26 days"

Etna, Penobscot, Maine
Allen Malcom, 45, b Maine
Hattie O. Harding 54, b Maine

I did not find Hattie O. Harding in the 1920 census. May have died 1919. See Find a Grave memorial to Hattie O. Harding (1852-1919). Inscription: "Wife of Bert Harding."

There's a place called Lynn in Essex County, Massachusetts

Now, turning to Henry.

Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts
Henry Harding, b about 1852 in Maine

("Your" Fred Harding was born in Lynn, Mass. This Henry in 1910 is not living with anybody we know.)

I like this census for Henry B. Harding (aka Bert) because the son is born in Massachusetts:
Penobscot, Maine
John W Harding, 35, b abt 1875 Massachusetts
Bessie F Harding 22, wife
Bert H Harding, 67, father, widowed, born about 1853 in Maine

Possible Carter Parents, Iffy

Etna, Penobscot, Maine
John G Carter 68 born about 1812 in Maine
Ruth Carter 62 wife born about 1818 in Mainae
Zelma Carter 31 daughter
Harriet Carter 26 - daughter born about 1854 in Maine <-----
Preston Carter 24 son
Eva Carter 21 daughter
Elma Carter 18 daughter
Jama Sweetser 65, widowed
Whenthrup Carter 2

If the above is "your" Hattie Carter, she needs to get married right away, and "your" Fred Harding needs to be a little younger than what his marriage cert says, or he can be born out of wedlock, etc.

John G. Carter and Ruth D. Carter are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Etna (died 1891), along with some other Carters and along with Hattie O. Harding and the children Hattie buried.

Maybe you had all these records - but to find the parents of your couple, volunteers need first to amass as much evidence as possible. This post may help in the endeavor. I hope so.

All best
